Hate to say goodbye, but this leaves me little option. I put movies on hold to pickup Friday September When I arrived the box was broken which I called in for repair. The first call was dropped so I called again. Spoke with someone who offered promo codes for my trouble.
We were able to pick up Saturday. Returning early on Sunday. I was charged 2 nights. Called customer service and when I disputed charges I was hung up on. Called and requested Supervisor to be put on hold 25 min.
Called again speaking with Grace. Told her I was very angry. She has assured me I will be rufunded 1 night.
I reserved 2 movies on line to pickup. Got to Wal-Mart to find that the kiosk has been out of order for almost 2weeks. I called Redbox immediately. The gal that I spoke with kept telling me it was my fault. She did nothing. Nor did she care about the fact that the kiosk did not work.
My card was charged twice. I called the next day as soon as they opened. Asked to speak with a manager. She refused to let me. Went through the entire thing again. Now they have charged my card 2 more times.
I called for a third time, have now been on hold for 45 minutes waiting for a manager. This is absolutely uncalled for. Total unethical business practices. Now i have to call the bank again…. I will never do business with them again and at this point I will spread the word of beware they are scammers!! Very sneaky of you jerks. If you have any ethics, you will contact me directly through my Facebook PM and resolve this issue today by someone who is authorized and empowered to fix it.
I have contacted customer service numerous times without resolution of a double charge for the same movie. Was told I could not receive credit for another movie or credit back. I explained it was the wrong movie! She said ya but rented 5 galaxies and did return it I said Ys but I did return it she said there's no proof o well!!
I'm so upset!!!!! It used to be nice to just go to the REDBOX, and pick up a movie, but when you constantly get the wrong one or its scratched or dont have proper credits that should of been issued.
Its time to speak up. If your going to correct an error great. If your going to lie for someone else then make sure your statements match. If someone is do credits do it the right way. Please don't leave someone on hold for 45 minutes and then hang up. This will be reported to BBB and whomever else needs to know. Send movies to pop instead of making us drive 20 to a small townthis should not take to much trhinking.
I returned movies that I had out with redbox. Checked my account nothing reflected that I had any movies or anything still out. I found the game it had fallen down the side of my sons bed. So I called redbox to ask them why my online account didn't show that I had a rental out cause if so I would have known to look for it. So I talked to her supv who told me everything totally different then what the first rep told me. In a dispute customer service doesn't mean anything with redbox.
I used to be a huge fan of redbox but after the poor customer service I will never rent from them again. Useless And Waste Of Time. The "reserve am movie" system is a scam!! I tried 2 times to reserve a movie. Both times get the response- " movie no longer available" but I still get charged found out via email when I got back home! Call to get refund- they offer free movies. NO I dont want to be charged for a service I am not receiving.
FIX your system and quit stealing money from people! Reporting you to the BBB.. Their "customer service dept" and "supervisors" are the worst people I have ever had to deal with. I have not rented movies in the month of May, however, a transaction was deducted from my account.
I was told they have a automated system that collects payments and they are sorry and wanted to give me promo codes. I said "Hell No! The touch screen in the kiosk in our small town's redbox was froze up one day. So I called them and they said I can't refund you but can give you credits and have a tech fix the problem. Which I accepted. So went to use the credits couple weeks later and it was froze up again.
I called again. The said and done same thing.
