He was asked wrestling again during a live taping of The Herd with Colin Cowherd. He explained that he would have to train a lot to have another run, nonetheless another match. He figured it would take a couple times a day for three months or so to get ready for that.
But he did add he would love to do it if the fans were clamoring for it and the right storyline presented itself. Triple H has already been on record saying he'd like one final run in some of the biggest wrestling countries and arenas. At that point I was setting up the framework for what I was going to do next. A few hours later, I get a call from Hunter [Triple H] and that pretty much all kind of changed. By the end of the year Joe had turned on his partner and the pair went to war over the NXT Championship.
Shows All Shows. Power Slam Every Wednesday. Queen Street Posse Every Wednesday. There is often character continuity between the two shows, but the Triple H we see down in developmental is vastly different to the one we are accustomed to seeing on Raw.
That could finally bring the Triple H of NXT to the forefront, especially given no one deserves more credit for ushering in the New Era than him. He is responsible for the success of many of the stars on the main roster, so he should continue to focus on the future instead of resuming his role as a regular on Raw.
